_ Marcelo Camelo is the face of the new Brazilian music. He imprints a new era and a new approach. With two solo albums (“Sou/Nos” and “Toque Dela”), Marcelo Camelo sees Portugal, more and more, as his true home. His acoustic performance with just voice and guitar at the completely sold out Teatro Tivoli (Lisboa) sealed the connection between this musician from Rio de Janeiro and the Portuguese public. In 2018, he preformed in Claustro do Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, at Belém Art Fest. "The melodies of Marcelo Camelo are orchestral " (Gonçalo Frota, in Ípsilon/Público), in reaction to Sinfonia nº1- Primitiva released in 2018.
